Tawnee Rozier-Byrd

Tawnee Rozier-Byrd studied psychology at Princeton — and the instinct that drew her there is the same one she brings to admissions consulting. She reads people well. She listens for the thing a student mentions once, in passing, that turns out to be the most interesting part of their entire profile. And then she helps them see it too. Her specialty is the student who looks traditional on paper and has no idea how distinctive they actually are.

Tawnee grew up as the only sister surrounded by three rowdy brothers, which is the kind of origin story that explains a lot about how she operates: calm under noise, observant by default, and patient enough to let someone arrive at their own insight instead of handing it to them. That temperament carries through the work. She handles both long-range mentorship — starting with younger students on extracurricular development, summer program strategy, and course selection — and senior-year application support, where the stakes tighten and the deadlines stop being abstract.
