All Yale students are assigned to one of 12 residential colleges before they even arrive on campus. Each house has it’s own (castle-like!) dorm that provides not only a place to live, but a smaller social community on which everyone can rely.
Not sure what class to take? At Yale, you get 2-3 weeks at the beginning of every semester to “try on” as many as you’d like until you find the right fit. Undergraduate students are also free take classes at the School of Management, Yale Law School, or in other graduate programs!
Master’s Teas are small guest lectures within the residential colleges that are organized by students and faculty alike. Many renowned scholars, athletes, artists, and celebrities come to speak at Master’s Teas each year, and they offer a wonderful opportunity for students to meet and learn from world leaders from all fields in very intimate settings.
Yale has a really international focus and flavor, and it offers students access to official Yale programs around the world like Yale-PKU in Beijing, Yale-NUS in Singapore, and Yale-in-London.
