Small Class Size

With just under 250 students per class, all MBAs get to know each other really, really well and are a very tight knit group.

Team Projects

All assignments are completed as a study group with a team of five to six students. Given the intimate community and small class size, teamwork is extremely important at Tuck.

General Management

Tuck’s curriculum focuses on general management and places equal emphasis on strategy, marketing, finance, and operations.

Rigorous Fall Quarter

The first semester is notoriously difficult, given the intense core curriculum and elongated 32-week school year.

First Year Project (FYP)

Students are placed on a team of five students and work directly with a faculty advisor to bring classroom learning into a real business problem. This project happens at the end of the first year, and lets students to consult real-world clients to solve business problems or work on a business plan for entrepreneurial ventures.

Core Curriculum (IBEP)

The core curriculum includes courses such as Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Decision Science, Leading Organizations, Managerial Economics, and more.

Health Care Initiative

Students interested in health care studies can take courses such as “Management of Health Care Organizations” and “Business of Health Care.”

Allwin Initiative for Corporate Citizenship

Energy and sustainability are important at Tuck, and they offer electives in corporate citizenship such as “Ethics in Action” and “Management of Disasters."
