Essay Analysis: Cornell Johnson School of Business 2018-19

We’ve got some big changes from Johnson this year! They’ve cut their long-time “table of contents for your life story” prompt in favor of an even more open-ended “the back page of your resume” conceit. It’s not the most straightforward prompt, but we love it—it gives applicants even more opportunity to set themselves apart from the crowd.
As if to balance out the non-traditional essay #3, numbers one and two are tightly targeted. The challenge here is staying focused on the ideas Cornell has presented, and not straying too far from their vision.
