New Schools Added to the Common App

February 26, 2013 :: Admissionado Team

Great news for high school juniors and seniors this week. The Common Application family just gained 39 new members, making your 2013-2014 application that much less chaotic. Whew!

Say Aloha to Hawaii and Hallo to Austria, who have joined the club, including 15 new public institutions and 5 new international members.

As more schools decide to participate in the Common App, students can breathe easier knowing they have a little less to worry about when it comes to the application process. There’s so much to stay on top of during the process—having all that data about your family, extracurriculars, and SAT scores in just ONE place, filled out just ONE time instead of five or six, makes applying to more schools simpler. And unless your schools have supplements, this also means you probably have fewer essays to worry about.

Can I get a “woohoo!”?

Some highlights of the 2013-2014 additions include:

  • Georgia Institute of Technology
  • Hawai’i Pacific University
  • King’s College London (UK)
  • Purdue University
  • St. John’s University
  • Temple University
  • University of Colorado Boulder

Check out the list to see the rest of the new schools. You’ve got 527 of ‘em to choose from now. Get cracking!
