Karima Allana

Brought up across Africa, educated across Europe, and with a professional career across the Middle East, Karima is as international as you can get.

After leading a London-based non-profit and presenting clean energy policy at United Nations HQ, Karima received a scholarship to join London Business School (LBS) as one of the youngest women in her MBA class. She graduated feeling great about her alma mater: she believes LBS is the most international MBA program in the world and is a passionate alumni interviewer intent on preserving the school’s unparalleled diversity. Karima credits her MBA for unlocking the door to Boston Consulting Group and the world of management consulting, which even after an MBB career, she still says is her “dream job”.

A former BCG Manager, Karima is now a one-woman show, traveling the world with her laptop to meet her clients across Dubai, London, Karachi (and everywhere in between!). When she’s not in the air or working from beautiful spots worldwide, Karima is on her kitchen counter in Karachi with her rescued beagle (kind of like a sidekick), solving business challenges and supporting executives. Most recently, she’s partnered with COOs of large South Asian hospitals, Ministers of the GCC, and logistics start-up founders.

Karima combines her international exposure and storytelling expertise to help students from all corners of the world and all walks of life gain coveted spots at the world’s best business schools. She passionately believes in the value of diversity, both in an MBA class and in the MBB boardroom, supporting prospective students to craft and tell their stories.

On the off chance you find her without her laptop, Karima is exploring new parts of Pakistan and the region with her husband, on family ski trips, or cheering on AlphaTauri in Formula One.
