Hope Kudo is primarily a data analyst and researcher with an avid love of coffee. She was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i, was part of the inaugural class of recipients of the Gates Scholarship and received a B.A. with Honors from Harvard University.

Her previous experiences and current data-focused work have proved extremely transferable to empowering students to achieve stellar results. She has been involved with admissions consulting since her days in undergrad at Harvard University, it is there that she founded a student organization that worked with low-income and first-generation students around the Boston area to provide them with free resources to apply to college. Her work with this organization was recognized by the United Nations and she was named as a Millennium Fellow to continue bolstering students from underserved areas. During her time in undergrad, her organization was able to help over 500 students apply to college with many being accepted to Top 20 schools around the United States, such as Harvard, MIT and Stanford.

After graduating from college, Hope has remained as a club advisor and served as an alumni interviewer for Harvard to interview prospective applicants, giving her direct insights into what makes an application shine for top universities! Outside of that, Hope has remained involved with the Gates Scholarship, she has served as a applicant interviewer, activities reviewer, essay editor and most importantly, mentor – finding joy in getting to connect with and learn from students! Getting to work closely with students is a focal point for Hope and she truly loves setting up the next generation for success.
