When it comes to figuring out your best MBA application strategy, there are plenty of “experts” that will tell you what you need to do to apply. Here’s what most of them don’t tell you, but what is JUST as important… what you need to do BEFORE you apply.

Think about runners; they need to get a good night’s sleep and a giant bowl of pasta before a race, but if they didn’t know to train for a month beforehand, their chances of winning are WAY slim. And all those politicians vying for your votes… we all know they had to lay the groundwork LONG before they hopped on the ol’ campaign trail.

In the same way, there are things that MBA applicants need to do before they start working on their essays or resumes to strengthen their profiles, and blow the adcom away.

Some of those things are more obvious (“take the GMAT”), and others, not so much (visit the schools? Talk to people on campus?), so we’re gonna give it to you straight so you know exactly what should be on your application to-do list.
