If you thought HBS made big changes this year, just wait.  What are other schools doing differently?  New staff with new perspectives?  New programs?  Shifting focus?

Wharton to Add New Test to Admit Process

Ross to Take MBAs to New Heights

As part of an innovate new Executive Education program, Assistant Professor Scott DeRue will be leading future MBA business leaders on weeklong expeditions up 19,000-foot Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania starting in December. [Could it be? Johnson Hires New International Recruiting Manager

Johnson welcomes Charli Taylor as the new London manager overseeing recruitment in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. We can’t be sure, but it looks like this year might be a great time for International applicants to add Cornell to their shortlist.

U.S. B-Schools to Identify Board-Ready Women

It’s not secret that women are outnumbered in the board room, and The Forte Foundation is making it their mission to change that. They’ve partnered up with CBS, Sloan, Booth (and 36 other b-schools) to increase the number of women MBAs. By building a solid list of vetted female candidates and seeking placement for them in Fortune 500 companies, the foundation hopes to increase the 16.1 percent of board seats currently held by women.

Yale SOM Hires Two Associate Deans

Yale welcomes Anjani Jain and David Bach as the new Senior Associate Deans for the full-time MBA and executive MBA programs, bringing experience from Wharton and IE to help improve and grow the program.  Both are young and motivated, which means there should be some exciting changes on the horizon.
