Not to brag, but we have an amazing team of people, and there’s more to them than just their top school pedigree or their devilish good looks. When you’re choosing an MBA Admissions consultant, you don’t just want someone in your industry or who went to your dream school. You need an MBA Admissions consultant who will be able to work with you, connect with you, and push you to be your best… and that’s not the same person for everyone. Some people need an empathetic touch; others need a drill sergeant. That’s why we think it’s so important for you to get to know our guys before you get to work.

So Leslie, where are you living these days?
Atlanta, GA

And your MBA is from…
Darden (UVA)

Why did you go for an MBA?
I went to Darden to learn how to market and grow a business the smart way. All the subject matter, recruiting events, and clubs dangled bright, shiny “other” career paths in my face, but I stuck with my goals.

What’s your all-time favorite memory from business school?
Of the many vivid memories, jamming to our amazing Ethics Guru Ed Freeman and his band on a gorgeous spring day with my classmates at a clapboard farmhouse pretty much takes the cake.

What do you like most about being an MBA consultant?
So many of us only see the negatives of ourselves. It sometimes takes a sunshine-surrounded mirror to highlight our 100%-unique gifts, goals, and attributes. I love helping applicants figure those out! What’s most gratifying is not only seeing my clients get into schools, but also watching them learn more about themselves.

What’s the COOLEST place you’ve ever been?
My first overseas venture landed me in Venice, Italy, where it was….peaceful. Just the whirring of tiny boat engines. I wandered the narrow corridors of the city, got lost, listened to street musicians playing Vivaldi, and realized how much of the world I needed to explore. I also ate pasta twice a day. And pistachio gelato.

Tell us something surprising about you.
I might have left politics and Washington, D.C., for business school, but they never left me. I still religiously watch “Meet the Press” on Sundays and miss Tim Russert like crazy.

Your biggest weakness.
Outrageously-priced hand-crafted cocktails that feature anything ginger.
