January 15, 2020 :: Admissionado Team

Wharton, Sloan, Stern…Heard of these schools? These are just some of the top MBA programs in the U.S., but they’re not just for MBAs. If you’re primed and ready to hit the ground running, here’s a list of the Top Five U.S. Undergraduate Business Programs.

#5 New York University

New York, NY

The two most popular majors at NYU are business and arts, so you can be sure you’re going to get a top-tier business education with a side of… well, whatever you want!  When you go to NYU Stern School of Business, you also get the vast liberal arts offerings for which NYU is renown. Plus, you’re in the heart of New York City.  If you’re looking to make your mark, the business and cultural capital of the world is a pretty good place to start.

#4 University of Michigan – Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor, MI

At Ross School of Business, they’re all about leadership and team collaboration.  This is a school all about practical action and honing those relevant skills to get you that dream job after graduation.  It’s not all work, though!  Michigan students love to play – there’s a huge Greek scene, Big Ten sports, and if that’s not your thing, you’ve got over 900 other student organizations to choose from.

#3 University of California – Berkeley

Berkeley, CA

With only 350 students in each enrolling class at Haas School of Business, you’ll be immersed in a tight community, where you’ll have plenty of opportunity to develop lifelong connections with classmates and expert faculty.  Haas exudes that new, fresh California feel – It’s not just about doing business; it’s about redefining it.

#2 Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Cambridge, MA

MIT isn’t just for computer nerds and engineers.  When you’re at the Sloan School of Management, you know you’re in for the most cutting edge approach to business education. Besides, technology plays an increasingly important role in the business world, so it doesn’t hurt to have access to one of the world’s premier institutions for science and technology.

#1 University of Pennsylvania

Philadelphia, PA

The Wharton School was the first collegiate business school, and they’ve got a long history of turning out global business leaders.  With options for flexible curriculum, undergrads at Wharton can choose from any class and access world-class professors at Wharton or UPenn, synergizing business and liberal arts in true Ivy League form.
