Honesty
Honesty for us is uncomplicated. We believe in the work that we do, and we believe that the work you submit to us is yours, original, and true. In fact, we require it to be. The truth is that even adcoms themselves do not reward dishonesty; they can smell a faked essay, forged letter of recommendation, even a disingenuous argument from a mile away! So the reasons to work honestly, as we do, are as practical as they are moral.
Besides, we believe that every single candidate out there has an interesting story to tell. We take it as a challenge with every case to help discover that story, and help the client deliver it with a punch.
Pragmatism (with a Dash of Idealism)
Some agencies pray on the insecurities of applicants who want to hear that they are Harvard material, even if they are not. Alternatively, some agencies seduce clients with bold guarantees, only to clip the clients’ wings by discouraging applications to competitive schools.
We like to push our candidates to excel. But we do so with a measured hand. We like calculated risks. We will encourage you to aim high, higher than you may even expect, but we’ll also implore you to be smart and apply to a few schools where your chances are excellent.
